  1. Activity Target:
This event aims to delve into the latest developments and trends in the fields of pharmaceutical economics and medical technology assessment in Taiwan, as well as their impact on the Taiwanese healthcare system and health policies. It also aims to introduce the current status of international pharmaceutical economics and medical technology assessment, highlighting similarities and differences with Taiwan. Through the valuable insights and experiences of Professor Chien-Ning Hsu, we hope to:
    1. Enhance participants' understanding and awareness of pharmaceutical economics in Taiwan, fostering in-depth discussions and research in this field.
    2. Explore the application of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Taiwan and discuss ways to overcome associated challenges, promoting the development of HTA in Taiwan.
    3. Share the impact of pharmaceutical price control policies on the Taiwanese pharmaceutical market and healthcare system, exploring ways to promote innovation and sustainable development while ensuring drug accessibility.
    4. Provide career development directions and advice to individuals interested in the fields of pharmaceutical economics and medical technology assessment, helping them better plan their future career paths.
    5. Expand participants' professional networks, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and cooperation to collectively promote the sustainable development and improvement of the Taiwanese healthcare system.
  1. Activity Content:
    1. We are honored to have Professor Hsien-Ning Hsu as the keynote speaker for this event. Professor Hsu holds a Doctor of Pharmacy in Pharmacy Outcomes and Policy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, USA. She currently serves as a pharmacist at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, an adjunct professor at Kaohsiung Medical University School of Pharmacy, and a member of the Lee's Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research Group in Taiwan. Her profound expertise and extensive experience in this field make her an excellent guide for this event.
    2. Practical case studies and instructional discussions will be provided to allow participants to gain a more intuitive understanding of the application scenarios and real challenges in pharmaceutical economics and medical technology assessment.
    3. Emphasis will be placed on discussions regarding career development directions to assist participants in planning their future careers in this field.
    4. The event will be conducted in English with interactive sessions to encourage participants to share their perspectives and experiences, fostering professional exchange and collaboration.
