1.Activity Target:
The upcoming "Teachers' Experience Sharing Session on International Visits" is designed to help teachers feel more at ease withbilingual teaching and better integrate it with their course content. We're excited to have Teachers Yung-Yi Cheng, Chih-Wei Chang, and Yih-Fung Chen join us to share their insights from their trips abroad and their experiences communicating with peers from July to August 2024. We hope this opportunity for mutual exchange will make teaching in English more fluid and effective, leading to even greater success in the future. 2.Activity Content:
The event is open to all teachers and staff at the College of Pharmacy. We’re pleased to announce that three speakers will besharing their experiences: Assistant Professor Yung-Yi Cheng will discuss his professional training in English Medium Instruction (EMI) at the University of Texas at Austin during the summer of 2024. Assistant Professor Chih-Wei Chang will share insights from his observation of bilingual teaching courses at Nihon Pharmaceutical University in early August 2024, along with his executive team. Associate Professor Yih-Fung Chen will talk about the exchange and collaboration her team experienced at Chulalongkorn University’s College of Pharmacy in Thailand at the end of August 2024. Following the event, we’ll ask each participant to complete a questionnaire. This feedback will help us tailor future activities to better meet everyone’s needs. 3.Speaker:
