  1. Activity Target:
Globalization is no longer just a slogan, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought even more attention to Taiwan's healthcare system worldwide. The increasing number of foreign tourists, students, laborers, and new residents has also heightened the difficulty of communication between local healthcare professionals and patients. This event, under the guidance of expert professors, will first emphasize the importance of medication safety, then focus on building the participants' abilities in medication safety. Through various examples, illustrations, or tools, innovative lesson plans and explanations will be developed to overcome language and international barriers in medication safety education. This will enable participants to convey correct medication knowledge to all residents of Taiwan in a more diverse and effective manner in the future.

  1. Activity Content:
1. Professor Yu-Tse Wu from College of Pharmacy will lecture on medication safety-related knowledge, commonly overlooked details, as well as key points and techniques for English advocacy. Then, by guiding participants through the logical compilation of teaching materials and considerations, they will be encouraged to brainstorm and create diverse advocacy lesson plans. Additionally, they will design and produce appropriate teaching aids for the lesson plans.
2. Officers from our school's Melting Pot Society will serve as activity assistants, sharing past advocacy experiences and challenges to provide references for participants in designing lesson plans and creating teaching aids.
3. From the end of the lectures until the presentation of outcomes, each group can engage in group discussions during the second-day group discussion time and free time after class. Before the third day's presentation, they will prepare a complete English teaching presentation and the necessary props.
