We invite Professor Anders Backlund from Uppsala University in Sweden to collaborate with our College of Pharmacy in organizing a joint program. This visit aims not only to encourage our students to enroll in the dual-degree program signed between our College of Pharmacy and Uppsala University but also to conduct a two-week course and activities entirely in English. This mode of instruction will facilitate communication and interaction among teachers and students in the areas of professional academia and cross-cultural exchange, thereby enhancing English proficiency.
The course will cover the latest developments in pharmacy in Taiwan, including pharmacy education, natural product research, cosmetics, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical companies, chain/non-chain pharmacies, government agencies, national health insurance, traditional Chinese medicine treatment, Chinese-Western medicine pharmacies, and pharmaceutical factories.
