Target	All students of Pharmacy college, limited to 50 participants.
Activity Target: The development of the field of global pharmaceutical economics and outcomes research has surpassed 30 years in advanced countries such as Europe and America. The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) was established in 1995 in Philadelphia, USA. Its primary aim is to promote the rational and economic use of healthcare technology and to provide a platform for communication and collaboration among economists, physicians, pharmacists, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical technology companies, and healthcare insurance companies engaged in related work. This platform facilitates the exchange of ideas and mutual learning. This event will introduce students to ISPOR and assist student clubs at our institution in applying for ISPOR membership. It is hoped that our student club will become the first student chapter of ISPOR in Taiwan, contributing to the field of international pharmaceutical economics and outcomes research. Activity Content: Invite Professor Lai-An Lai, former professor at the School of Pharmacy, Nova Southeastern University, USA, to introduce an overview of the global field of pharmaceutical economic assessment and outcomes research. This aims to help students understand the international development of related research and its impact on employment opportunities. Additionally, Professor Lai will discuss the role and contributions of ISPOR on the international stage, as well as share experiences participating in ISPOR academic activities and assisting students in engaging with such events.
